Eilean Donan Castle Reflections
This Eilean Donan Castle digital download captures the castle sitting quietly on its island, mirrored perfectly in the still waters of the loch. A soft, misty autumn sky hangs low over the hills, with a bed of seaweed-covered rock spread across the foreground at low tide.
I photographed this on a grey, misty autumn day, waiting for the water to settle enough for a clean reflection. The whole scene had a hushed, quiet feel to it, the castle sitting almost suspended between the loch and its own mirror image. Weather like that does more for this castle than a clear blue sky ever could.

It also suits anyone who wants a calm, atmospheric piece of Highland photography on their wall.
