Glen Lyon Coo
This Glen Lyon Coo digital download captures a shaggy Highland coo settled in the grass on a summer hillside, its long horns and windblown fringe catching the light. A second coo rests just behind it, with the green and heather-toned slopes of Glen Lyon rising beyond.
I photographed this coo on a summer walk through Glen Lyon. It was lying right at the edge of the path, completely at ease, chewing away while I got close enough for this shot. There’s something almost comical about that shaggy fringe hiding its eyes, but it never loses its charm. Coos like this one are a big part of what makes the Highlands feel like the Highlands.
This Glen Lyon Coo digital download is perfect for anyone who loves Scotland’s Highland cattle or wants a bit of warmth and character on their wall. It also suits anyone who simply loves the Highlands’ more characterful residents. It prints beautifully at any size from A4 through to A1, and suits both modern and traditional interiors.
