Loch Morar Skies
This Loch Morar Skies digital download turns the camera skyward over Scotland’s deepest loch, where a huge bank of storm clouds breaks apart around a burst of sunlight. Below, a stone jetty and two wooden posts anchor the scene to the still water.
I shot this in portrait at the same spot on Loch Morar, specifically to let the sky take centre stage. The clouds were constantly shifting that day, and I waited for the moment the light broke through to give the whole scene some real depth. It’s a very different mood from the same jetty photographed straight across the water.
This Loch Morar Skies digital download suits anyone who loves big, dramatic skies or classic black and white landscape photography. It also appeals to fans of Scotland’s quieter, less-visited lochs. It prints beautifully at any size from A4 through to A1, and suits both modern and traditional interiors.
This Loch Morar Skies digital download makes a bold, dramatic statement piece for any room. It’s equally at home as a gift for anyone who loves big Highland skies, or as a personal reminder of the stillness found at the water’s edge. Either way, it brings a slice of Scotland’s most peaceful scenery straight to your walls.
