The frost had settled overnight and everything was glistening in the low early light. The telephone box was still lit from within. Its warm amber glow contrasting perfectly with the cool blue frost of the morning. There is something wonderfully surreal about finding this iconic piece of British street furniture standing alone in such a remote and spectacular Highland setting. A Highland chicken can even be spotted in the background — adding a touch of humour to the scene.
