Reflections on the Canal
This Caledonian Canal reflections download captures a row of bare winter trees silhouetted against a golden sunset. The still, part-frozen water below mirrors every branch and colour perfectly.
I arrived at the canal just as the sun began to set behind the trees. Golden light broke through the bare branches in the centre of the row. The water lay calm and partly frozen, doubling the whole scene below. Frosted reeds lined the near bank in the fading light. It was a beautifully still winter evening, well worth the cold.
This Caledonian Canal reflections download is perfect for anyone who loves golden hour skies or peaceful winter scenery. It also suits anyone who wants a calming, symmetrical piece for their wall. It prints beautifully at any size from A4 through to A1 and looks wonderful in both modern and traditional interiors.
This Caledonian Canal reflections download makes a striking statement piece for your living room. It’s equally at home as a gift for a Highlands lover, or as a personal reminder of a peaceful winter evening. Either way, it brings the calm beauty of the Highlands straight to your home.
