Sunset on Neptunes Staircase
This Neptunes Staircase sunset download captures the famous flight of locks on the Caledonian Canal at golden hour. The sun sets low behind the hills, casting warm light across the water and surrounding cottages.
I photographed this scene as the sun dropped low over Banavie one evening. Light spilled through the bare branches of the old tree on the right. The lock gates stood quiet as the canal water rippled gently below. Warm gold tones lit up the sky and the cottages along the bank. It’s a peaceful spot that changes completely with the evening light.
This Neptunes Staircase sunset download is perfect for anyone who loves the Caledonian Canal or the Fort William area. It also suits anyone who wants a warm, golden piece for their wall. It prints beautifully at any size from A4 through to A1 and looks wonderful in both modern and traditional interiors.
This Neptunes Staircase sunset download makes a striking statement piece for your living room. It’s equally at home as a gift for a Highlands lover, or as a personal reminder of a golden evening at Banavie. Either way, it brings the warmth of the Highlands straight to your home.
